Fool’s Abound, a lesson in Economics for the younger generation

salmond2For the 1st time in 300 years, the Scottish people are being given the chance to go to war.

Wars have always started over one thing but end up about another.  I know they don’t know what they are doing, but joining Alex Salmond’s barmy army will be, the least best thing you’ve ever done.

“There are fools abound” as my Grandma used to say.  Before the really nasty stuff starts, economic warfare should not be dismissed lightly.  Economics, is the measure of confidence, required to maintain global economic systems.  When lost, and people see the “king has no clothes”, like a paper tiger, it is defencelessly ripped apart, never to be rebuilt.  Without control over your own currency, and with banks as vulnerable, and as over geared, as the Bank of Scotland, business and investment will flow away, economic activity will dry up, jobs lost, house prices will start to fall and the vicious spiral of depression starts.  Our futures must lie together, facing an uncertain world with confidence.

Vote NO for the right reasons.
